Billed in six-second blocks, rounded up, like every phone system. A dedicated number costs three minutes of talk time a month while it is active. Nothing renews automatically and you can release the number any time.
What Spotter does
Answers on the second ring
During a class, on the floor, at nine at night. It works from your listing, so the hours and prices it quotes are the ones on your page — and if something is not on file it says it will have somebody call back rather than guessing.
Books tours and trials
Name, when they can come, what they are training for. It takes the request in the caller’s own words and puts it in your inbox. It never confirms a booking, because a confirmed slot is yours to give.
Knows the difference between a member and a rep
A supplement salesman and somebody asking about a day pass get different treatment. Anything commercial is logged and dropped rather than passed to you.
Hands over what needs a person
A complaint, an injury, a billing dispute, anything it has not been told about. You give it one number to transfer to, and it uses it.

Forward your number
Keep the number you have. Set call forwarding at your carrier — always, after hours, or only when the line is busy. We never see or change your carrier settings.

Tell Spotter what is true
It already knows your hours, classes, amenities and prices from your claimed listing. You add the things a listing cannot hold: no drop-ins on Saturdays, parking is round the back.

Listen to the calls
Every call comes back with a transcript, a recording and a one-line summary. The requests land in an inbox you can work through.
What it will not do
- Pretend to be a person. It says it is an AI in the first sentence of every call, and that line is not removable.
- Quote a price that is not on your listing, or invent hours it has not been given.
- Confirm a booking. It takes the request; you confirm it.
- Give medical or injury advice. Anything in that direction goes to a person.
- Go silent when your credit runs out. It keeps answering and takes messages — a phone that rings out is worse for you than one that says somebody will call back.
Calls are recorded and transcribed, and every caller is told so as the call begins. Illinois and several other states require both sides to consent; the greeting is how the caller gives theirs, which is why it cannot be switched off.
One gym, or three hundred
The same assistant runs for a single studio and for a chain. It answers from each location’s own listing, so a caller to one club never hears another club’s hours. We map 19,277 gyms and 9,489 coaches, and a claimed listing is what gives Spotter something true to work from.
